The June 9th 2004 meeting was a little deja vu all over again. Unlike the night two years ago when we were locked out of the Middle School and enjoyed Don Altman's presentation on the steps (see our photo) this time we merely had a bizarre power outage which left the room lights on but none of the wall outlets. John Moore gamely presented his talk on "Documentation Galore" with the aid of his battery powered laptop and no projector.

John asked the group for suggested topics for the fall season and together we listed about eight, which your webmaster unfortunately didn't write down. John had an idea of putting an interactive page on our web site so people could prioritize the topics and suggest others. It hasn't happened yet, but it will be a long summer and maybe John will do it. If not, give him your thoughts (via Joe Bruno's e-mail in case you don't have John's - posting them here would invite spam). As usual, his notes are in Lessons in Linux: Desktop Publishing which is studded with links to web sites taking you into far more detail than even John provided. Check it out!!
